2022 Regina Academies Summer Boy’s Camp

What a week it was!

Registration is open to all boys from any Regina Academy who will be entering 6th grade through those in high school. Preference will be given to boys that attend a Regina Academy, but other boys from outside the Reginas will be considered with a strong recommendation from a Regina family if space is available.

This camp is sponsored by Regina Luminis Academy but boys from all the Regina Academies who qualify by age are welcome to attend.

We will spend the week in outdoor activities like hiking, axe throwing and sling shot shooting. We will also fish, go river tubing, return to one of last year’s favorites, Urban Air, and more!

The plan for the week (which is subject to change) is:

• Monday: Get the week started at Valley Forge National Park. The day will begin with a rosary at the Marquee, the site where George Washington was visited by the Blessed Virgin, and then continue on with fun and games to break the ice. We will take a strenuous hike up Mt. Misery and spend some time fishing in Valley Creek.
• Tuesday: We have the rare opportunity to experience Amish life from the inside. We will help an Amish farmer with some chores in a day of service and see first-hand what a life that is lived intentionally separate from the modern world is like. There will also be plenty of time to run in the fields and continue our games and competitions.
• Wednesday: Last year our tubing trip on the Delaware was rained out. Start praying now for good weather and we’ll spend the day on the river relaxing from our work the day before by having water fights, and more fun and fellowship.
• Thursday: Urban Air Back again for another year.
• Friday: We hope all the dads can join us for a day at Hickory Run State Park. The week will end with a father-son campout and gourmet campfire cuisine, tall tales, a rosary, and a night under God’s incredible canopy of stars.

The cost this year will be $325. Last year many were surprised at the low cost given all of the activities that were included. We’ve had to bump up the price to give us more flexibility in transportation, and to meet the increasing prices that we’re all experiencing every day. The increased cost will significantly help in the logistics of the various activities.

• DATES: Monday, July 18 – Saturday, July 23 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM (daily times may fluctuate)
• LOCATION: We will depart and arrive back each day at the Regina Luminis Academy parking lot. St. Monica’s Parish in Berwyn, PA.
• PRICE: $325/camper.

  • Balance due by July 1, 2022
